We just bid farewell to the Harry Potter film series with the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, and now Warner Bros has just put out the first trailer for The Dark Knight Rises – the last film of the Dark Knight trilogy. The Dark Knight Rises is Christopher Nolan’s last Batman film as director, and we’ll miss him being the one in charge of bringing Batman to life on the big screen.
At least we have this last Nolan-helmed Batman film to look forward to. It’s hitting theaters in July 2012, but WB is giving us an early sneak peek at what we can expect right now.
The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake.
