Death’s back and he’s tracking down more victims who’ve somehow managed to escape their fate in Final Destination 5, directed by Steven Quale. The newest entry in the action-horror franchise is rated R and will be opening in theaters on August 12, 2011.

Nicholas D’Agosto stars as Sam, Miles Fisher is Peter, Emma Bell is Molly, and Arlen Escarpeta is Nathan. The cast also includes Jacqueline MacInnes-Wood as Olivia, P.J. Byrne as Isaac, Ellen Wroe as Candice, David Koechner as Dennis, Courtney B. Vance as Agent Block, and Tony Todd as Bludworth.

Official Synopsis: In Final Destination 5, Death is just as omnipresent as ever, and is unleashed after one man’s premonition saves a group of coworkers from a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. But this group of unsuspecting souls was never supposed to survive, and, in a terrifying race against time, the ill-fated group frantically tries to discover a way to escape Death’s sinister agenda.
