‘Footloose’ – ‘Fake I.D.’ Music Video

The 2011 version of Footloose is dancing its way into theaters on October 14, 2011, with Kenny Wormald substituting for Kevin Bacon and Julianne Hough in place of Lori Singer. This new Footloose follows the same basic premise as the original film – a town has banned dancing following the death of some of its teens – and even includes some of the same songs from the 1984 high school musical drama (most notably, the return of the title track sung originally by Kenny Loggins and handled this time around by Blake Shelton).

One of the new songs featured in the 2011 Footloose is “Fake I.D.” from Big & Rich and featuring Gretchen Wilson. Check out this new video from Paramount Pictures showing Wormald and Hough – two talented dancers – showing off their moves.

Official Synopsis: Ren MacCormack (Kenny Wormald) is transplanted from Boston to the small southern town of Bomont where he experiences a heavy dose of culture shock. A few years prior, the community was rocked by a tragic accident that killed five teenagers after a night out and Bomont’s local councilmen and the beloved Reverend Shaw Moore (Dennis Quaid) responded by implementing ordinances that prohibit loud music and dancing.

Not one to bow to the status quo, Ren challenges the ban, revitalizing the town and falling in love with the minister’s troubled daughter Ariel (Julianne Hough) in the process.
