Jonah Hill teams up with Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller, and Richard Ayoade to keep his neighborhood safe in The Watch, an R-rated comedy from director Akiva Schaffer (Hot Rod). And while most neighborhood watch groups only have to worry about humans and the occasional wild animal, the guys in The Watch are faced with the more difficult task of fighting off an alien invasion.
In this interview courtesy of 20th Century Fox, Hill talks about his role and why he wanted to be a part of this sci-fi comedy.
The Plot: Four everyday suburban guys come together as an excuse to escape their humdrum lives one night a week. But when they accidentally discover that their town has become overrun with aliens posing as ordinary suburbanites, they have no choice but to save their neighborhood — and the world — from total extermination.
The Watch hits theaters on July 27, 2012.
