New Trailer: Lucy Starring Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman

Scarlett Johansson’s been extremely busy lately, voicing a computer operating system in Her, playing Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s demanding girlfriend in Don Jon, tackling the lead in Under the Skin, co-starring alongside Chris Evans in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, working with Jon Favreau in Chef, and she’s currently filming The Avengers: Age of Ultron. She’s also got Lucy, from writer/director Luc Besson, coming to theaters on August 8, 2014 and showing off a new trailer today. Plus, on top of all those projects, she’s also pregnant with her first child.
 
The Plot of Lucy:
 
From La Femme Nikita and The Professional to The Fifth Element, writer/director Luc Besson has created some of the toughest, most memorable female action heroes in cinematic history. Now, Besson directs Scarlett Johansson in Lucy, an action-thriller that tracks a woman accidentally caught in a dark deal who turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.
