Seth MacFarlane wrote, stars in, directed, and produced the R-rated comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West heading to theaters on May 30, 2014. The Universal Pictures release is MacFarlane’s feature film follow-up to Ted. It appears to be going for the same audience, as evidenced by this definitely not-safe-for-work trailer.
MacFarlane co-stars alongside Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Giovanni Ribisi, Neil Patrick Harris, Sarah Silverman, and Liam Neeson.
The Plot:
Seth MacFarlane plays the role of the cowardly sheep farmer Albert in A Million Ways to Die in the West. After Albert backs out of a gunfight, his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man. When a mysterious and beautiful woman rides into town, she helps him find his courage and they begin to fall in love. But when her husband, a notorious outlaw, arrives seeking revenge, the farmer must put his newfound courage to the test.
