MSN hosts the debut of the new international trailer for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones starring Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower. Based on the bestselling books by Cassandra Clare and directed by Harald Zwart, the first film of the potential movie franchise arrives in theaters on August 23, 2013.
The Plot:
Set in contemporary New York, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones follows Clary Fray, a seemingly ordinary teenager as she discovers that she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother, Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternative New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures.”
