Don’t call New Year’s Eve a sequel to Valentine’s Day, but it does have some of the same cast, pretty much the same plot, and is directed by Garry Marshall. The PG-13 romantic comedy heads to theaters slightly before New Year’s Eve on December 9, 2011.

Garry Marshall loves big-name ensemble casts, and he’s filled out his latest effort with plenty of recognizable names including Ashton Kutcher, Zac Efron, Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Josh Duhamel, Katherine Heigl, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Hilary Swank. The ensemble also includes Sofia Vergara, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Ludacris Bridges, Robert De Niro, Hector Elizondo, Jake T Austin, and Seth Meyers.

But we’re not quite done yet… Also ringing in the new year are Sarah Paulson, Larry Miller, Jack McGee, Yeardley Smith, Lea Michele, Jim Belushi, Sarah Jessica Parker, Til Schweiger, Cary Elwes, Alyssa Milano, Carla Gugino, and Common.

Official Synopsis: New Year’s Eve celebrates love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and fresh starts, in the intertwining stories told amidst the pulse and promise of New York City on the most dazzling night of the year.
