Paul Giamatti tries to warn everyone, and Dwayne Johnson tries to save everyone in the first official teaser trailer for the action film San Andreas. Directed by Brad Peyton (who previously worked with Johnson on Journey 2: The Mysterious Island), the New Line Cinema release also stars Johnson’s Race to Witch Mountain co-star Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario, Ioan Gruffudd, Archie Panjabi, Hugo Johnstone-Burt, and Art Parkinson.
San Andreas opens in theaters on May 29, 2015.
The Plot:
After the infamous San Andreas Fault finally gives, triggering a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Dwayne Johnson) and his estranged wife make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter.
But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning. And when they think the worst may be over…it’s just getting started.
