SNL alums Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader star as estranged twins in The Skeleton Twins from co-writer and director Craig Johnson, and heading to theaters via Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions. The trailer’s just been introduced and the tone of the film’s different than you might expect from a Hader/Wiig collaboration, especially one with a cast that also features Luke Wilson, Ty Burrell, and Boyd Holbrook.
The Skeleton Twins arrives in theaters on September 19, 2014.
The Plot:
When estranged twins Maggie (Kristen Wiig) and Milo (Bill Hader) feel they’re at the end of their ropes, an unexpected reunion forces them to confront why their lives went so wrong. As the twins reconnect, they realize the key to fixing their lives may just lie in repairing their relationship.
