Fox has switched up the premiere date of its new dramatic series, Almost Human. The buddy cop show starring Karl Urban and Michael Ealy will now make its debut a few weeks after it was originally scheduled to arrive on the small screen, premiering now on November 17, 2013 at 8pm. The network will launch it with a special two-night premiere, airing episodes one and two on November 17 and November 18.
The new night means the sci-fi drama will air immediately following an NFL double-header on Sunday, November 17.
The network also confirmed Bones will air on November 4 and November 11 (Mondays) before moving to Fridays on November 15. Raising Hope will kick off its fourth season that night with back-to-back half-hour episodes beginning at 9pm.
The Almost Human Plot:
From Emmy Award-winning executive producer J.J. Abrams and creator/executive producer J.H. Wyman comes Almost Human. Starring Karl Urban and Michael Ealy, the new series is set in 2048, when police officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. Almost Human will follow the week-to-week missions of John Kennex (Urban), a detective and sole survivor of a devastating police ambush, and his robot partner, Dorian (Ealy), as this buddy-cop duo solve cases and fight to keep the lid on dangerously evolved criminals in this futuristic landscape.
