Timberlake will be both the host and the musical guest on the March 9, 2013 episode of the show, joining the exclusive five-timers club and kicking off a promotional run that will find him joining Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for a week of appearances. Timberlake is set to perform each night, marking the very first time any artist has been featured in shows for an entire week.
All of Timberlake’s March performances are timed to support the release of The 20/20 Experience, his third solo album, which will be available on March 19, 2013.
The March SNL lineup also includes Kevin Hart who’ll be making his hosting debut on the March 2, 2013 episode. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will be that night’s musical guest, also marking their first time on the popular comedy show.
