LL Cool J Will Host the 2012 Grammys

The Grammy Awards are changing things up this year, putting a host in place to guide the show for the first time in seven years. LL Cool J, a two-time Grammy winner, will handle the gig, making sure things flow smoothly during the 54th Grammy Awards on February 12, 2012. LL Cool J’s following in the Grammy Awards hosting footsteps of Queen Latifah, Jon Stewart, Billy Crystal, Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O’Donnell.
 
Confirmed to join LL Cool J on stage to perform are Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, and Taylor Swift.
 
The event will be broadcast live on the East Coast on CBS from 8-11:30pm ET (the West Coast gets the delayed version, also at 8pm).
