Pierce Gagnon (Looper) has joined the cast of the CBS drama Extant starring Halle Berry. The upcoming series is executive produced by the team of Steven Spielberg, Greg Walker, Mickey Fisher, Brooklyn Weaver, Justin Falvey, and Darryl Frank.
Halle Berry’s also involved as an executive producer.
The series is a joint production of Spielberg’s Amblin Television and CBS Television Studios. And just like with Amblin and CBS’s Under the Dome, Extant will air over the summer months.
The Plot: In Extant, Halle Berry will portray an astronaut who returns home from a year-long solo mission in space and tries to reconnect with her husband and son in their everyday life. Her experiences in space and home lead to events that ultimately will change the course of human history.
