Executive producer Gale Anne Hurd introduces this new behind-the-scenes video from Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead companion series coming to AMC. Executive producer Dave Erickson calls this new series “a family drama first and foremost” that will evolve into a horror genre piece and says it sets up the new world. And cast member Kim Dickens says it’s been a blast to work on the new zombie apocalypse series. “Our family unit just jelled and we all sort of just fell right into the grove with each other,” said Dickens.
Fear the Walking Dead will kick off its six one-hour first season episodes this August.
The Details:
Fear the Walking Dead, which is set in Los Angeles and focuses on new characters and storylines, stars Kim Dickens as Madison, Cliff Curtis as Travis, Frank Dillane as Nick, and Alycia Debnam-Carey as Alicia. Also joining the cast as series regulars are Elizabeth Rodriguez as Liza, Lorenzo James Henrie as Chris, Ruben Blades as Daniel, and Mercedes Mason as Ofelia.
