“The town of Chester’s Mill, trapped under a dome – nobody can get out, nobody can get in,” explains author Stephen King, talking about his book as well as the new CBS series inspired by Under the Dome. In this first extensive look at the series, King and the show’s cast discuss the story and provide a sneak peek at the action inside the domed-in city.
The cast of Under the Dome includes Rachelle Lefevre, Mike Vogel, Colin Ford, Aisha Hinds, Alexander Koch, and Mackenzie Lintz. The first episode was directed by Niels Arden Oplev (Dead Man Down).
The Plot:
Under the Dome is the story of a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. The town’s inhabitants must deal with surviving the post-apocalyptic conditions while searching for answers to what this barrier is, where it came from and if and when it will go away.
