CBS Plans a Special One Hour How I Met Your Mother Finale

Audiences will be saying goodbye to the How I Met Your Mother gang with a special one-hour series finale on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 8pm ET/PT. The one hour episode will reveal the story of how Ted met his children’s mother, concluding the series with a must-see episode for anyone who’s tuned in over the show’s nine season run. The critically acclaimed series was created by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas and stars Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan and Cristin Milioti.
 
CBS has given the prime spot after the series finale to the new comedy Friends with Better Lives which will premiere at 9pm before moving to Mondays at 8:30pm ET/PT on April 7th.
